About my practice
Mediation requires an understanding of a wide range of topics and requires the
mediator to have a grasp of many disciplines.

Since the mediation process is purely voluntary and a mediator may not decide the
winner or loser, how do conflicts get resolved? It may be surprising to you to know that
the solution rest with the parties. Sometimes the parties can resolve their own conflicts.
But when a seemingly insurmountable conflict arises it takes the services of a skilled
mediator to untie the knots.

When a person finds themselves in conflict with another they may feel that they have lost
control over their lives. They may feel pain, or humiliation or any number of negative
emotions that drains vital energy from them and those that love them.

So how can the parties be restored?  Sometimes there is not enough money in the
world that can overcome the hurt associated with the conflict that you have found
yourself in. The conflict that you are engaged in has not only left you feeling battered and
bruised, but has put a huge dent in your finances. Does this sound like you?

You can take your life back. My practice differs from many others, because I work with
the parties to resolve their conflicts based on their true interests rather than their legal
positions. Rather than looking like an auction, my practice gives the parties the skills to
reframe their conflict and restore their relationships and reputations together.
